NEW YORK & CHICAGO & LONDON–Anova Technologies announces the launch of its new market data service, live on September 2, 2014.
Built on the backbone of Anova’s leading edge network, Anova’s feed is available via either ultra-low latency wireless or optimized low latency fiber. For clients accessing the data via the ultra-low latency wireless, they will benefit from the market’s fastest sub-185µs speeds, recently achieved through path and equipment improvements.
Anova’s feed delivers raw data that can be partitioned as needed into discrete multi-cast channels such as NYMEX, COMEX, CME and CBOT prices. Unencumbered by a specific API, this gives customers a greater degree of control in normalizing the data. And while the route is currently utilizing legacy millimeter wave, construction has recently begun to retrofit the equipment with the AOptix ULL-3000 radios and deliver near perfect availability.
An added advantage of the Anova service is the ability to bundle execution connectivity at sub-185µs with the raw feeds. The company’s recently installed proprietary end-point termination devices give clients the flexibility to order bandwidth in increments of 10Mb – 100Mb with only nanoseconds of overhead and an advanced queuing platform not found on other FIFO or round-robin systems.
“Most network providers use off-the-shelf equipment to mux/demux bandwidth. The issue is that these commercially-available systems just aren’t sufficient for Anova’s or our customer’s needs. That’s why we’ve invested in building our own platform to handle this critical aspect of connectivity. It also gives us full control over the latency stack – it’s proprietary technology all the way to the client handoff,” stated Michael Persico founder and CEO of Anova Technologies. “Because of that, our sub-185µs measurement is from client port to client port. It’s the fastest known connection.”
Initially offered out of the CME to 350 Cermak, Anova will expand its market data offering to each of the other major exchanges throughout 2014 and 2015. Competitively priced and with flexible terms, Anova’s feed is currently available to all CME customers.
