Anova Financial Networks seeks to accelerate the development of ultra-low latency transport devices!  As a vertically integrated design and developer of ultra-low latency solutions, instruments, and systems, for High-Frequency Trading networks, our product portfolio includes, high resiliency fail-over and low-latency port-aggregation units.

Summary of Job Function:

This position reports to the Manager of Customer Support and Operations. This group is responsible for the core accountability of managing the customer interaction post sale.  This person and their team will be responsible for a) the provision/turn-up of fiber, wireless, and market data circuits and where applicable, their corresponding bolt-on services and b) the timely and accurate support of such circuits and services once installed.  Typical support duties shall include:

  • Interfacing with the Anova Tier1 NOC
  • Managing engineering and product development Tier 2 support escalations
  • Crafting customer RFOs as and when applicable
  • Sending maintenance notices to customers as and when applicable
  • Interfacing with general manager of Anova’s internal tower crews to manage upgrades and corrective maintenance

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Service delivery, provisioning, and support of on-network and type II products and services
  • Install, upgrade and maintain the Anova Technologies RF, Fiber, and Market Data infrastructure
  • Respond to Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer NOC requests directly via email and generate weather correlation analysis to network events.
  • Prepare and send these directly to use and update Network Monitoring Applications including PRTG, Icinga and provision data center connectivity
  • Issue LOA/CFA
  • Maintain inventory of radio mast locations, cages, cabinets, cables, patch panels and power in the administer external vendor portals, including Equinix, NASDAQ, Verizon, Century link, etc. Tasks include: opening trouble/remote hands/access/shipping tickets, ordering connectivity, keeping personnel access lists up to date, generating reports to assist inventory
  • Run network verification testing / packet capture using Viavi/JDSU, XENA Networks and home built applications
  • Coordinate, schedule and support field activities. This includes activities relating to tower installations, data center equipment/cable changes and field

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • BS in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical skills and ability work in an experientially diverse team
  • Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibility in a large enterprise or carrier environment
  • Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal skills in a technically dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in service delivery, provisioning, and circuit/equipment inventory
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSI stack, routing protocols, and RF/Optical Equipment
  • Lawful employment in the USA on a permanent basis without sponsorship or representation
  • Travel as needed
